ITEM: A report on a Children’s or YA manuscript (fiction)
DETAILS: Manuscript no longer than 80k words; can substitute with 3 picture books. Report will be sent within 30 days of receiving the manuscript, unless otherwise agreed. Report to contain detailed feedback covering the areas of plot and structure; characterisation; writing and language; market potential; and other areas depending on the type of manuscript.
CV: Emily Gale was an editor of children’s books in UK for 8 years, working in-house for Penguin and Egmont, as well as freelance. She has published children’s books with Ladybird, Frederick Warne and Parragon, and a YA novel with Chicken House. Emily is currently a Reader for an Australian literary agent.
