134 Day-long playwrighting clinic – Elaine Acworth

Item: A day-long clinic on a performance/theatre script – any stage of development, for an emerging or developing playwright.


Brief Bio: Elaine Acworth studied at the East 15 Acting School in London, where she worked as an actor and a director. Her first play Torched was produced in 1990 by London’s Finborough Theatre. She returned to Australia in 1991, and Composing Venus was the result of her work with the Queensland Theatre Company’s new writing program. Her 1993 play Bod was workshopped at the Australian National Playwright’s Conference.
